Llevo un tiempo intentando perder algo peso, pero después de descubrir esta receta de brownie es imposible… La ví en el canal de cocina, en el programa La cocina fácil de Donna Hay. Me pareció muy sencilla y cuando la probé, me quedé sin palabras. Siempre pensé que hacer brownie era muy complicado, y me equivocaba.

INGREDIENTES

  • 150 gr. de mantequilla
  • 175 gr. de azúcar glas
  • 125 gr. de cacao en polvo
  • 70 gr. de harina
  • 3 huevos
  • 1 cucharada de esencia de vainilla
  • nueces

PREPARACIÓN

  1. Derretir la mantequilla en una sartén a fuego lento.
  2. Mezclar con el cacao y el azúcar glas hasta que se forme una masa homogénea.brownie_03
  3. Batir los huevos en un bol, y mezclar con la harina y la esencia de vainilla.brownie_04
  4. Añadir la mezcla de cacao, azúcar y mantequilla al bol y remover bien hasta que sea uniforme.brownie_05
  5. Machacar las nueces e incorporarlas a la masa.brownie_06
  6. Verter la masa en un molde cuadrado untado con mantequilla.brownie_08
  7. Introducir en el horno a 160ºC durante 30-35 minutos.
  8. Espolvorear con azúcar glas y acompañar de helado de vainilla, fruta o cualquier complemento a tu gusto.brownie_09

Este es un postre delicioso y realmente fácil para iniciarte en el mundo de la repostería. Es un fino bizcocho jugoso y esponjoso, pero con un toque crujiente gracias a las nueces. Anímate a prepararlo y hazte adicta al brownie… Igual que yo!

I‘ve been trying to lose some weight for a while, but after discovering this brownie recipe is impossibleI saw it in the cooking channel, in the program Fast, fresh, simple. I found it very simple and when I tried it, I was speechless. I always thought to do brownie was very complicated, and I was wrong.

INGREDIENTS

  • 150 gr. of butter
  • 175 gr. icing sugar
  • 125 gr. cocoa powder
  • 70 gr. Of flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • walnuts

PREPARATION

  1. Melt the butter in a skillet over low heat.
  2. Mix with cocoa and icing sugar until a smooth dough forms.
  3. Beat the eggs in a bowl, and mix with flour and vanilla essence.
  4. Add the cocoa mixture, sugar and butter to the bowl and stir well until uniform.
  5. Crush the nuts and incorporate them into the dough.
  6. Pour the batter into a buttered square pan.
  7. In the oven at 160ºC for 30-35 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle with icing sugar and served with vanilla ice cream, fruit or any supplement to your liking.
This is a delicious dessert and really easy to get started in the world of the confectioner. It’s a fine juicy and fluffy cake but with a crispy touch thanks to nuts. Dare to prepare and become addicted to brownie… Just like me!

La fiebre espacial ha llegado a la cocina! Tanto si te ha gustado como si no la nueva película de Star Wars, tanto si eres un fan de la saga como si no, te encantarán estas cookies para wookies.

En casa convivo con un auténtico fan, y cada pocas semanas me pide que le haga estas deliciosas galletas. La receta la saqué de un libro maravilloso que mi hermana compró en Toronto, y aunque tiene muchas recetas galácticas, ésta es la que más nos gusta. También podéis encontrarlo en algunas tiendas de Madrid, junto a su segunda parte, pero aviso que las recetas están en inglés.

Aquí os dejo la receta para que la disfrutéis…

INGREDIENTES (30 cookies aprox.)

  • 2 ¼ tazas de harina
  • 1 cucharada de café de bicarbonato
  • 1 cucharada de café de sal
  • 1 cucharada de café de canela molida
  • 1 taza de mantequilla a temperatura ambiente
  • 1 taza de azúcar moreno
  • ½ taza de azúcar granulado blanco
  • 2 huevos
  • 1 ½ cuchadradas de café de esencia de vainilla
  • 1 taza de chips de chocolate

PREPARACIÓN

  1. Precalentar el horno a 190ºC
  2. Mezclar la harina, el bicarbonato, la sal y la canela en un bowl con la cuchara de madera y reservar para luego.
  3. Mezclar en otro bowl la mantequilla y los dos tipos de azúcar con la batidora eléctrica a alta velocidad durante unos 3 minutos, hasta que se forme una masa cremosa. Después incorporar los huevos y la vainilla. Añadir ahora la mezcla de harina y azúcar y remover con la cuchara de madera. Por útimo, echar las chips de chocolate.
  4. Colocar una cucharada de masa por cada galleta en una placa de horno, hasta que la llenes, pero dejando un poco de distancia entre ellas, ya que crecen al cocinarse.
  5. Hornear las galletas unos 10 minutos hasta que se doren.
  6. Sacarlas con una espátula de la placa y colocarlas en una rejilla hasta que se enfríen por completo.

Fever space has reached the cooking! Whether you like the new Star Wars movie or not, wheter you´re a fan of these series or not, you´ll love these cookies to wookies.

I live at home with an authentic fan and every few weeks he´s asking me to make these delicious cookies. I got the recipe from a wonderful book that my sister bought in Toronto. And although it has many galatic recipes, this is the one we like best of all. Also you can find it in some stores in Madrid, with its second part, but notice that it´s written in English.

Here you have the recipe to enjoy it…

INGREDIENTS (about 30 cookies)

  • 2 ¼ cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup butter, at room temperature
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

PREPARATION

  1. Preheat the oven to 190ºC
  2. Put the flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in a mixing bowl. Stir with the wooden spoon. Set aside.
  3. Put the butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar in another bowl. Using the electric mixer set on a high speed, beat until well blended and creamy, about 3 minutes. Beat the eggs and vanilla. Add the flour mixture and stir with the wooden spoon. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  4. Scoop up a rounded tablespoon of the dough and drop onto a baking sheet. be sure to leave enough space between the cookies because they spread as they bake.
  5. Put the baking shhet in the oven and bake until golden brown, about 10 minutes.
  6. Remove the baking shheets from the oven and lift the cookies from it with a spatula and place on cooling racks. Let cool completely.

i woke up this morning early because of a sudden cold wind. the sound of green waves, grey clouds passing by, making a gathering in the sky. warm tea thinking about the feeling of wearing a sweater in summer. the northern summer. full of small melancholic moments which make me feel alive.

sunday afternoon. fresh rain, green tea, blue crochet. piano music moves to the beat of the drops on the leaves. the black cat walks outside under the trees. its yellow eyes look at me. i look at them. some flowers from the lilacs fall on the grass. a moment of happiness.

we met almost 10 years ago. it was not a good start. i can still remember those days full of tears when i walk around your streets. even though i promised not to come back, you called me some how. you were patient and showed me many of your secrets. the melancholic rain, the smell of coffee, the sleepless light. we have learnt to like each other in a way that nobody understands.

i always come to (.)mbar. one of my favorite places. I love to sit down for hours with a coffee and enjoy the music, the people, the city.

Today I finished my work late but still i had some time to get to the shop and buy yarn. Then I thought that during the whole day i wanted to eat a cookie and drink a cappuccino. So, i went to a very small coffee place in the center called Kaneli. I did some crochet, listen to some music, and i put my worries away for few minutes. Hope you had also a cookie moment to enjoy.
